Manuel Peral Hernandaz, a member of the Swansea Referees Society

Manuel presented to the Society in February a talk on the “Spanish way of Refereeing” This proved to be very interesting and informative. Manuel as been a member for the last year and returns to Spain this May.

Society donate £500 to Singlton Hospital

Swansea Referees Society Quiz Night

The society held its quiz night on Monday 13th December, at the Fords club. Our quiz master Ken Wright was once again a super quiz master, with some very testing questions.

The evening was well represented by members and officials from the Junior league and Senior league. The winning team, and for the third year in a row was Alan Gray and Phil Davies.

The Colin Ashford award was presented to John Rees of Cwm Albion at the societys October Meeting.

Society Football team Play Swansea All Stars

The societys football team played the Swansea all Stars in a charity game on the 10th October at Garden village FC. We raised over £400 for the Cancer Research at Singlton hospital. The game was a close call, 7 nil to the Swans.
