Message from Craig Templeton, West Wales Referees' Officer
Hello all WWFA Referees,
As a reminder this Sunday at the Elba in Swansea I will be putting on a fitness test and AR Training.
12.30 - fitness check, 1315 - AR training, 1400 Close
This is an opportunity for anyone to attend and have a go at the Referees Fitness Test, to gauge where you are in relation to it, and see if there is any personal fitness development to work on. The results will not be recorded, and I will not be sending anything on anywhere – its just a group of fellow referees supporting each other.
Please be mindful that if you are considering promotion to upper tiers next season, or if you wish to Referee at Tier 3, there may be an expectation to complete a fitness test ahead of next season – so come and give it a go.
Following this it has been arranged to have Assistant Referee training, which will be of great benefit to you if you are considering getting involved in the many Semi Finals and Finals across the area this season.
Also it is possible for Level 4 Referees to be AR at Tier 3, if you have completed training.
I am pleased to say that the FAW Elite AR Coach, Eddie King, has offered to assist in taking the session – for which I am extremely grateful.
So if you haven’t done so already just reply and let me know if you are coming down on Sunday?
Don’t forget its astro, so trainers are ideal…and do not forget Flags!!!
If you can’t make this there will be another session on March 17th in Carew, Pembrokeshire.
Thanks,
Craig
