A number of members commented that last night's Society meeting was one of the best ever - and who can disagree?

Over thirty members and guests in attendance, a professional photographer in attendance to capture a group photo and, most important of all, an excellent guest speaker.

Welsh Premier League & FIFA Referee, Bryn Markham-Jones, led an excellent session discussing ten different real-game scenarios. In each instance, there was a "by the book" answer and a "best way to manage the game" answer. Our challenge was to decide which action was most appropriate in the context of the game.

The scenarios generated a lot of discussion - and occasional disagreement - but it was an excellent, stimulating presentation.
