Many thanks to all those who joined us at The Fords Club for an excellent presentation by Andy Madley, FIFA and English Premier League referee.

Andy not only talked about his early career but also gave a presentation that likened the referee's role to that of a conductor in a theatrical performance. In both cases, you have to prepare properly for the "performance" and understand your role in controlling the "tempo" and "rhythm" of the performance.

Special thanks goes to attendees from neighbouring Referees Societies - particularly those from Carmarthen who won all the raffle prizes.
