Last Monday's Society meeting was another busy one;over 30 people in attendance.

We had presentations from both the Swansea Senior and Junior Leagues to Ken Wright in recognition of his phenomenal Guinness World Record achievement.

The Junior League also made a plea for referees to officiate in their League - last Saturday only three games were covered by qualified referees. Anyone who would like to referee in the Junior League - many games kick off at 10am on a Saurday morning - should contact the League Referees' Officer, Natalie Davies, on 07948 881309. The League operates a flat/composite fee of £25 per game, split between the two teams.

The highlight of the evening was a presentation by Tier 2 referee, Richard Jefferies, describing his experience of "Referee Abroad" and the useful experience he has gained from officiating at overseas tournaments.

Please remember, if you wish to officiate in an overseas tournament, you must first seek permission from either West Wales FA or FAW
