Society member, Ceri Williams, has been appointed as the FAW's first Female Referees' Development Officer. Ceri will be responsible for training, mentoring and developing the growing number of Welsh female officials.

Ceri has been officiating since 2010. Her first game was a Swansea Junior League Under-12 game at Gors Avenue in Swansea.

It is anticipated that Ceri's achievements as an official - including being appointed as a FIFA Assistant Referee in 2019 - will be an inspiration to other aspiring female officials
