Because England have reached Sunday's Final, it was inevitable that a "home" (ie UK) official would not be appointed to the Final. Nonetheless, it is a fantastic achievement by Cheryl and undoubtedly shows how highly regarded by FIFA she is following her impeccable performances at the World Cup.
