The Football Association of Wales has announced a new partnership with REFSIX, the app for referees. REFSIX will be helping the FAW recruit and retain as many referees as possible next season, with a number of exciting projects coming up.
If you've not used REFSIX before, it is an app that helps you time and track the game, your career and your performance. It works on any device, including desktops, phones and smartwatches. It is free to download from app stores including Google Play and The App Store.
To help with the rollout of sin bins, REFSIX is offering all Welsh referees free access to their sin bin feature, which makes temporary dismissals easier to manage on the pitch. To access this feature, simply download and register, and select the FAW during sign-up.
REFSIX are also offering Welsh referees a unique 90-day free trial to give everyone access to the PRO version of the app. This tool will help your development with positional heatmaps, sprints, distance and video analysis.
After downloading and signing up to REFSIX, use code FAWALES90 after selecting the monthly plan via their website.
Editor's Note: Looking at the RefSix website, I can see that the PRO version of the app costs £5pm or £50pa. The following information has been copied from the RefSix website and summarises the features of the two versions:
