Last Sunday (7th July), WWFA Referees Officer, Craig Templeton, hosted the annual West Wales Referees' Seminar at the Diplomat Hotel in Llanelli.

Over 75 referees attended the seminar and heard presentations on a variety of topics, including:

• The revised FAW grassroots organisational structure
• 2024/25 Law changes
• How to become a referee; a question referees are often asked but don't always know the answer to! (Clue: visit the website "becomearef.wales")
• The role of Referee Assessors & Mentors; what they are looking for and how they help referee development
• The benefits & importance of joining your local Referees' Society
• The promotion pathway for match officials
